PREAMBLE
We the Megans, embracing the thoughts and philosophies of the fraternal traditions. Promote love among ourselves as brother and sister exist. Conquering the common tendencies towards hatred, envy, selfishness, jealousy, malice, pessimism, doubt and fear. Bind ourselves into one solid family through the boredom of life happiness in one’s existence we all abide.
PRINCIPLES
Believe in God
I will believe in God and apply his divine truth and order to mankind. The things I do and will do should have the purpose of love and friendship, whom the divine grace granted us.
ARE BROTHERS & SISTERS
Realizing that enduring happiness comes only through helping others, finds it; no act of kindness is without its reward, even though it will not be directly repaid, I will do my best to assist when and where the opportunity appears.
FIGHTS FOR THE RIGHT
I will claim that the truth should always be the basis in showing and assisting my human rights, in all extent. It should be respected as I do respect others as well as their privileges and their right to exist.
NEVER SEQUEL
When necessity calls, I will never relate stories that would destroy the image of the Megans Society. I will be "silent" whenever danger or squealing appears.
ARE BRAVE
To face the reality of fate is one of the bravest human consideration in life. Bravery comes not only in the material aspects but also in terms of unseen principles.
GIVE AND TAKE
I will have the principles of helping others as part of role being a member of this organization. I should extend all my efforts to other members when time calls. I will help others without thinking of its reward. If others extended their help, I should accept it will all my heart.
ARE HONEST
I will be honest to my fellow members of the society, even to the slightest detail in all my transactions, not because of my desire to be fair with them, but because of my desire to impress the idea of honesty of my own subconscious mind. Honesty that will never destroy the reputation of our society.
STRIVE FOR PROGRESS
When my mind is not occupied with thoughts about the attainment of my definite aim in life. I will voluntarily keep it filled with thoughts or courage, self-confidence, for I believe that these are the seeds from which the world reaps its harvest of progressive growth.
Megans Society – San Enrique Logos
(Mega Eta Delta Chapter)
This logo captures both the national spirit and local roots of Meganism in San Enrique. The eagle and sun embody strength and guidance, while the roses and sugarcane highlight love, sacrifice, and community heritage. The Roman numeral MMXXI permanently commemorates the chapter’s recognition and foundation, affirming its role in the expanding legacy of the Megalith Nu Sigma Phi.
The logo integrates national pride, local identity, and the timeless values of Meganism. The eagle and sun emphasize leadership and guidance, while the roses and sugarcane root the chapter in fraternity and community service within San Enrique. The hexagonal emblem at the center serves as a reminder of the fraternity’s unshakable principles: unity, love, knowledge, and service to humanity.
